Maintinence woes

I hate when the maintinence guy FINALLY comes over to our apartment, and the apartment acts like nothing's broken. I always feel like a retard. He's all "look, the garbage disposal is fine!" and I'm like... okay, well, it hasn't been for the past month! And what do you want to bet he won't be able to make the tub leak either? BLah blah blah ( Read more... )

whoops! sorry, I meant to tell you that I went by the office friday afternoon, and made one of the mean old ladies come by and look at our stuff. Turned out the FOUR work orders they had under our apt name never got put in! So she came by and fixed our disposal super quick by pressing some reset button, and then was supposed to put in a few more work orders for us...but did he fix anything? OUR screen cant be fixed evidently until we move our desks...ummmm RIGHT, but she said they'd look at the tub leaks, replace the flourescent bulbs in the upstairs bathroom, replace the downstairs screen, and evidently she felt that the door needed to be fixed to (you know how it makes that horrible sound when someone opens the front door...evidently its not suPPOSED to be like that hehehe)

Yeah... the guy fixed our screen door, fixed the front door (whatever was wrong with it), said you need to move your desk so they can get to the window (since it's behind your tall thing), caulked the tub, and... damn! I forgot to tell him about the lights in the bathroom. Blah. I told him about the dining room lights, and he fixed those... oooh, I just checked, and he did fix the top lights too. Yay! So the only thing left is that infernal window screen... whew. But imagine my embarassment when he's like "uh... the disposal works fine" and I'm like "okay, I was gone for the weekend, it wasn't working when I left and I haven't seen any of my roommates yet!" Hahaha. We're supposed to call him back after we've moved your desk so he can fix the window.
