This is me having an expression of doubt and unhappiness. This is not me thinking I've made an error, and I say all this knowing full well that I am the architect of this situation. I'm just going through a lot of discomfort and need to work it out.

It does, thank you. The last time I moved somewhere far was in my early teens and it felt like this. Then after a while I found people and it became okay again. This, and depression... sometimes you just have to wait them out.

PMQG meets once a month if you want to come, plus has charity sewing and regular quilting days too! portlandmodernquiltguild.blogspot.com. I think there's plenty of knitting stuff - Happy Knits on Hawthorne has a weekly free meet-up, and I'm sure Ravelry has a lot of groups listed too. IPRC is great for printing, letterpress, and that type of thing.

Collage is also awesome - there are two locations, Alberta in NE and Sellwood in SE. Where is your place now?

Trust me when I say it gets easier. You are surrounded by folks who love & care for you, so it will get better. :) Adjustment can be tough, but it'll pass.
