A long entry. I'm glad I'm over that migraine to write this.

As promised, this was also an eventful weekend, and as promised, I have pictures! 35 of them, in fact. This is a long entry, and it’s taken a long time to upload the photos.

So you better enjoy it. )

purikura, shopping, animals, karaoke, arcades, history, manga, travel, friends

I enjoyed it! And it's nice to finally know what Sports Day is all about! I remembered references to it in Card Captor Sakura and Sailor Moon but never really knew the context. :)

Sounds and looks like you had quite the adventure! I really want to go the aquarium over there sometime, never been, from all I've read / seen of it, looks pretty awesome. Nijo and Himeji are probably my two favorite castles I've been to in Japan... I like the sound Nijo makes when you walk in it :) Anyhoo, always happy to read your posts!

I'm glad you are seeing so much! The ferris wheel looks huge,do you know how many people it seats? The squeaky floor alarm was interesting. If only we had thought to do that when we added on, we could have protected the fridge from midnight raiders. Thank you for the picture of the fish with the lips, but I think that the little gold man is going to give me nightmares. I wish I could go shopping there with you. Perhaps Mary or Michele can explain the blue heads. I'm sorry you are not feeling well. It is really nice that they have a Sports Day so you can lay around.
Love,
Mom
