The only thing that made me unhappy here was the fact that Hagrid has *always* trusted and defended Snape. Snape does not have so many allies in this world that he can afford to be indiscriminately cruel to one of them, and it made me kind of sad to see him last out at Hagrid. Who, while he can be a bumbling fool, does mean well, and even Snape saw that.
On the other hand, if this is for a later plot point, then disregard. ;)
