Mod stuffs

There's been something odd and annoying happening with comments on live journal. Some comments are not showing up and are being labeled "suspicious comments" Please note that it is not the mods doing this - it is live journal! I looked all through the faq's and didn't see anything on how to keep it from happening. So, if it happens to a comment

hadn't noticed that of late but there is one other thing now that I think about it. My MalwareBytes program ALWAYS pops up on VD & says it's blocking a malicious something or other - this is the only journal on Lj that it does that.....

nope...that's the first time it's not popped up. whatever you did, it worked.:)

I noticed this a few times when trying to post links to sites in comments, but i had no way of re-posting them without the links without trying to type them all out again. It gives a notification saying something along the lines of the admin having to approve the comment which will be labelled as suspicious until that time. Which is very unhelpful and misleading since, as you say, its not the mods doing it at all its some kind of precaution implemented by livejournal. Loving the new layout by the way! x

Someone on my flist posted about how to change it when the suspicious comments thing started, but I didn't bother to read it. So, I guess unless something has changed it should be possible. I just don't know how. :/
