Until recently there used to be a Valo Daily facebook page. Well, facebook removed it for "impersonating an individual" Tried explaining that it was a mirror of a website on live journal but didn't get anywhere. So, there is now a group on facebook for Valo Daily - Read more... )

In light of your making a new page, it would be nice for you to have that "HIM approved site" with maybe a one liner endorsement from Seppo if V didn't care to do it. Haven't looked yet, so maybe you have that already.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of FB myself, have had some weird, not so pleasant experiences there and things seem to get out of control like wildfire there. Can see why V isn't eager to be involved.

It really is a tribute to you guys who handle v_d that he allows it to go on. I know there have been times you'd have just as soon said forget it. Have to say though - v_d is a far different place than I was led to expect whenever it was I joined. And I say that with love.

Mmmf... there can be jerks on Facebook, Valo Daily, and just walking to the mailbox. I was afraid to join VD for over a year, because of the attacks I saw when someone expressed an opinion. It seems there's a sweet, peaceful bunch on here now, and I'm happy to be here...and grateful for the folks who keep it going.
I wouldnt discourage Ville from getting an F-book page as Kelly and Lady_B mentioned. It would dispel the rumours, and offset the phonies, while giving the very loyal HIM fans a feeling they actually matter to Ville. It could even be set up for no comments allowed, just whatever info he wanted to put out there, as I mentioned elsewhere...it would be fun if he mentioned books he's reading or music he's listening to.

Guess it just depends on mood at the time and what's going on in the head. I agree, the things you mention could be wonderful and most appreciated by fans. Some people just aren't random communicators and if there's music to be worked with, we'll appreciate that the most.

Anything coud happen though.
