I like this version of "Join me". For me it sounds better than the other version. But the lyrics fit better in the "official" one. So both have their advantages and their drawbacks in my ears :)

I really prefer the old and for me original version of "Join me (in death)"....but due to the "suicidal" words in it "...and my wrists are open wide for you, turning paler, oh I'm dying...", because the record company didn't want to release it that way!
So a little correction on your lyrics above: it's "turning paler" not "turning fatal" .
