Story is a re-make of the manga with the same title by Abe Miyuki. Basically about the romantic relationship between stepbrothers with a huge age-gap.

This is a big no. Yaoi is full enough of noncon as it is, we don't need pedo incest in addition. I had no idea this was by Abe Miyuki. I saw the Hakkenden anime based on her manga and it was great.
Right? I see it so too. Regarding the manga of Abe Miyuki - there are some yaoi creations that go somewhat in the same direction, so I wasn't surprised in the story, only that it's actually turned in anime. There is even an OVA planned for next year.
I guess they stick to the same authors when they decide what to adapt. Like Nakamura Shungiku's works, I like them (even though some characters are a bit too unenthusiastic in terms of consent), but we could do with something else from time to time (but not Super Lovers, obviously...).
