Train Upgrades
Attention, passengers! There is an important announcement regarding some new information!
The Valkyrie Express can be upgraded with the rewards obtained from completed missions! Contained in this post are details about the upgrades that have been unlocked. Please continue to do well in Conductor-san's missions, and the Valkyrie Express may become a more exciting and luxurious place!
Mission 1: Retrieval, Silver Scale Cowbell
From now on, the intercom announcements on the Valkyrie Express will be preceded by a beautiful jingle that is sure to grab your attention and put your mind at ease. Now Conductor-san can be sure that her messages get though to her passengers!
Mission 2: Battle, Greasy Jack
From now on, the train has an Arcade Cart where passengers can enter freely in order to play different games and pass the time while the Valkyrie Express is traveling between stops! If you want to know what kinds of games are available at the Arcade Cart, you can find out here!
Mission 3: Maze, Lotus Blossom Central Back Alleys
This mission was, unfortunately, a failure. Therefore, certain parts essential to repair a problem with the train could not be obtained. Until further notice, the train's climate control is malfunctioning and will not be operating while the train is in motion. The passengers should be prepared for a period of cold while the train travels between stops.
Mission 4: Escort the Princess, Hall Cosmological Airport
All damage currently sustained by the train has been repaired. This includes both of the destroyed rooms (which are now fully refurbished and available to accept passengers), as well as the climate control broken from Mission 3. Also, a new cart has been added! The Cooking Station is the place to go for those looking to prepare their own meals and experiment with recipes.
Mission 5: Dungeon Crawl, South Richmund Boarding School for the Exceptional
The lounge now contains a magic mirror that passengers can access, one at a time, in order to observe the whereabouts of people who are currently not on the train. There are a number of rules attached, so please consult this page to make sure it is used properly.
Mission 6: Firefly Catching, Aurora Bay
This was an unofficial bonus mission organized by the passenger Tami Alqon. As such, no immediate rewards were obtained from it. However, the participation it received may result in future bonus events. Please do your best if another is to occur!
Anniversary Event 1: Storm Line Synthesis, Lotus Blossom Central (Track 2)
The cast as a whole was able to unlock seven out of a possible nine upgrades during the game-wide anniversary event. The train is now substantially more comfortable, with faster and smoother travel between all future stops. The junctions between cars now provide a lovely view of the outside, while also becoming even safer than before. There is now a convenience cart where passengers can buy snacks and cheap supplies. All rooms have been enlarged for greater comfort. The medical cart is now available for passenger health emergencies. The conductor's room now has a lobby where passengers are welcome to enter and meet with her. Shinx, the train pet, now has its own custom environment in Room B6.
