Livingston Legacy 2.5
I'm back again! I know it's only been a couple days but I really can't wait to get started on the next generation. I'm so excited!
After this update I'll put up the heir poll.
Last time around Lysander grew up into a handsome teen,
and the whole family went on a couple outings and met some people.
That's about it.
To start off I sent the kids to the park in hopes of meeting some potential spouses.
Naeva memorialized the event with a selfie.

There were actually a few different teenage guys hanging around the park.
Naeva got along best with Randall Goth here.
All the socializing tired her right out and she zonked out on a park bench.
Lysander was a lot less successful in the spouse hunt. The in girls he saw were his cousin Lyla and an adult.
Better luck next time bud!
Reuben enjoyed himself on the monkey bars, though he could have done that at home,
and he really should've been trying to make friends.
Byron: I once defeated a space monster that was thiiissss big you know!!
Vivian: Oh wow, that's so awesome!
Byron was doing a better job making friends. His tactic of telling tall tales is questionable, but seemed to work.
Reub tore himself away from the monkey bars long enough to introduce himself to Joyce Sill.
So everyone but Lysander met some people that could be potential spouses.
I'd call that a successful day at the park!
FIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
I legitimately thought a fire had started when I saw this.
Turns out this is what happens when the stove needs to be repaired.
I didn't want any sudden weight gain happening like with all the other girls in this legacy,
so I've been trying to keep Naeva healthy by exercising.
A nice brisk jog in the evening is good for her.
Synchronized grilled cheese eating.
It's hard to believe how dysfunctional this family once was.
Now I've got everything under control and it's just peachy.
A spotted a girl walking by the house and sent Byron to chat her up.
Turns out she's Joyce's sister and her name is Aylin.

These kids are all so cute and they all get along with each other so well.
It's the exact opposite of last generation xD
Joyce came for a visit and talked with Reuben for awhile, they seem to get along very well.
Reuben: So...we're friends right?
Joyce: Of course we're friends silly! Why else would I come visit you all the time?
Reuben: *sings* We're friends, we're friends, I'm friends with a pretty girl, oh yeah!
James is doing awesome in the culinary career, and he cooks almost all of the family meals.
He loves cooking, I mean, look at that face! That's the face of someone who loves cooking.
I've got Lysander working on his mixology skill to get a start on his aspiration so him and James have to share the bar.
All the kids are 'A' students, and I don't even have to try really hard.
These kids this generation are all so good! It's really weird for me after having to deal with Kez and Tirzah xD
Randall: I hate teddy bears!!!!
Randall fits right in with the family of stuffed animal abusers.
Naeva: I just really don't see why you'd want to go out and talk to people you don't know. I'd much rather stay at home and eat!
Lysander: That's nice...now listen to this new joke I've been working on.
What does a pirate say when it's snowing? Shiver me timbers! Funny right?

Byron continues to be a little goody two shoes with great grades.
James still needs to learn some manners.
And a wild Tatiana appears!
Lysander: I love you granny! ...You don't happen to have any cash on you do you?
Yep. These kids love their dear old ghostly grandmother.
Naeva got a job as a barista to help pay the bills.
It's a good thing too because Kez had a little surprise for me...
Confetti. Streamers. The Bathroom.
Yep, Keziah's pregnant again.
Now, funny story, I installed a mod that inhances my sims freewill I guess you could say. Anywho, I hadn't been paying much attention to Kez since she quit her job and I guess at some point in time her and James decided to try for a baby while I wasn't paying attention. I seriously had no idea until I went to send her to the toilet and got the 'take a pregnancy test' option. Needless to say, I was not at all impressed. I said I was going to stop at 3 kids this generation. Stop making me a liar Keziah! So all the kids are basically teens and Keziah's having another baby. Just perfect.
Keziah: So...you know the other day...in our room?
James: Uhhhh....
Keziah: Nevermind. I'm pregnant!
I interpret this as a look of dumbfounded shock and horror. Which pretty much sums up my reaction.
I'm with you there James. We do not need anymore kids in this house! Too late now though.
I guess I should pay closer attention in the future.
Two cakes can only mean one thing.
It's the twins' birthday!
The guests look so pleased to be at the party.
Also, Uriah is still an awful dancer. Adorable, but awful.
First up is Byron.
And then we have Reuben.
Reuben: I'm going to be such an awesome teenager. I can just tell.
How humble of you.
Introducing the teenage Byron!
His traits are Music Lover and Good, and he aspires to be a Computer Whiz.
I find it really funny that he rolled good as one of his traits - it really suits him!
Also, he's pretty adorable!
And of course there's also his twin, Reuben.
He's a Creative Slob who's looking for his Soulmate.
He's also pretty cute. All the kids turned out so well and are such a nice mix of their parents. I'm quite pleased.
Reuben: Hey check this out Ly!
Lysander: Ummm...I don't think mom would approve of that.
And teendom has begun!
While Reuben was exploring less than appropriate parts of the web, his twin was catching up with his friend Aylin.
She's a teenager now, and the pair hit it off pretty well.
Aylin stopped visiting to do her homework.
They're perfect for each other!
Meanwhile a very pregnant Keziah was carefully supervising Naeva and Randall.
Keziah: Don't mind me. Just admiring this nice wall.
Tatiana can be very helpful at times, even in death she takes care of her family!
I took this picture to compare James and Byron. Seeing them side by side I can see a lot of similarities.
At the same time though you can see Byron got a fair amount from his mom too. He's a great blend of his parents.
I also like that he and Reuben don't look exactly the same despite being twins. It's nice to get the variety.
Look at that. Someone's actually using the chess table.
When Kobe and Uriah were around it got used all the time, now it gets ignored a lot.
Unless the tv and computer are broken or occupied. Then someone might use the chess table as a last resort for entertainment.
Joyce and Reub are still good friends.
I've been working on getting them to be more than friends, but she always has to leave before I can get very far.
I think they'd work out nicely together though. She's a bit awkward looking right now, but I'm hoping she'll grow into her looks.
Reuben needs someone to be his soulmate, and she seems to fit the bill.
Time for another birthday! Naeva is entering young adulthood.
Keziah: Oooooo...my back!
You brought this upon yourself. I didn't make you get pregnant again.
I haven't got many pictures of them but Randall and Naeva are super cute together.
Naeva: Look at this beautiful bowl of food!
Randall: It is a beautiful bowl of food...but not quite as beautiful as you!
Naeva: Awww...you're too sweet!
Only Naeva would enjoy being compared to a bowl of food. Gluttons.
Byron was also having romantic success with Aylin.
I wasn't sure how I felt about her at first, but Aylin's grown on me and Byron really likes her.
He used the age old tactic of gifts to win her over.
Aylin: Ooooooo! What a pretty rose! Thank you!
And Byron is rewarded by being the first of generation three to have their first kiss!
In the most romantic of location - the hall in front of the stairs. With people walking by.
Reuben: Don't mind me, just heading to the kitchen for some cake. Carry on.
Meanwhile, Naeva's birthday was still in progress.
Byron was a bit to busy asking Aylin to be his girlfriend to notice though.
And thus little Byron becomes the first kid to successfully snag a significant other.
Woot woot! He's all set and ready to go!
Also Naeva's a young adult now.
Her traits are Loner, Glutton, and Gloomy.
Like her mother, Naeva aspires to become a Chief of Mischief.
With her traits I could see that working out quite well.
Her first order of business as a young adult?
Dancing of course!
Randall joins in on the dancing while James and Lysander watch.
As a side note, Randall hasn't become a young adult yet so I'll have to wait for him to age up before Naeva makes her move.
Hopefully that will be soon.
James has been getting too busy to cook all the family meals, so I've got Lysander working on his cooking skill.
With his Master Mixologist aspiration I figured he'd end up in the culinary career anyway, so he might as well learn to cook.
I've got him starting out with salad only so the house doesn't get burnt down. We can't afford something like that happening.
Keziah is full to bursting! I'm starting to suspect she might have more than one baby in there.
For the sake of my sanity I reallly hope not.
I wanted to do a bit of a James and Reuben comparison. They're both making faces so it makes it a bit harder, but oh well.
Reuben seem to be a nice mix of his parents, though he seems to lean a bit more towards looking like his mom.
He's his father's son though. Reub sat down with a book just like his bookworm dad would.
Lysander is still a lover of the computer and computer games.
I think there's a glitch with his traits because it says he's hot-headed and a goofball, but he always gets a tense mood from not playing enough video games, and the moodlet says it's because he's a geek. I'm not really sure what's going on with that.
I got Reuben and easel in hopes that he could supplement our income by selling paintings.
And I'm hoping to get him into the painter career so this will give him a jump start.
Labour is no less painful for Keziah than the first three times.
You've got to be kidding me. Twins. Again.
Both are girls and their names are Abeline and Cecily. Don't ask me which is which.
The house is now full with 8 sims. I'm going to die.
Thankfully Keziah's actually been a really good mother this time around.
She spends so much time taking care of the girls she neglects her own needs.
I have to drag her away and force her to take care of herself.
It also helps that there are 6 sims in the house who are capable of caring for them.
There's always someone arounf who can check on them.
Byron's the most helpful, I can forsee him being a great parent.
I must really love this interaction because I always have at least one picture of my sims doing it in each chapter.
It's almost obligatory xD
I'm getting Byron started on his computer whiz aspiration so he spends a lot of time on the computer now.
Keziah: Why won't she stop crying?
Probably because she's doomed to be ignored in favor of her older siblings for the rest of her life and has pretty much zero chance of becoming heir. Her future is bleak.
Even though these twins are so late they seriously are probably just going to be ignored half the time, at least they've been well taken care of as babies. There's no shortage of people around to care for them.
We'll conclude with Byron and Lysander doing what they do best.
