BACC Week Two: Charron
Hey guys, I've got another BACC update for ya, its time to visit the Charron household again! Last week was mostly uneventful. This week is slightly more eventful. Lets get on with it then!
Shay's actually starting to make a fair bit of money from her produce. I'm hoping she'll have enough money to open a store soon, then we can unlock the culinary career.
Shay's favourite thing to do with her freetime is trim her bonsai, which I'm totally fine with being as it ups her gardening skill.
A quick visit to the new neighbours was made. Shay didn't stay long though as her needs were low and there was gardening to be done.
On her way home Shay got distracted talking to these people. By the time I got her out of there at least 6 or 7 sims were all stanfing around in the middle of the road chatting. That seems safe.
Shay: Well we don't have any cars, so there's nothing to worry about.
Nothing like reading a gardening book with a glass of milk!
According to Carl's Sims 4 Guide, fish are the best fertilizer for plants, so Shay gets to develop her fishing skill. She actually really enjoys fishing, I mean, look at that smile!
She's also really good at fishing, her first time and she catches a cow plant seed! Lucky us!
I like how you can see the fish jumping in the water while your sims fish.
Shay: "Teehehehe, look at the little baby fish!"
I think its actually called a minnow Shay, but whatever floats your boat!
The cowplant berry is planted, now we just have to wait.
Manno decided to pop in for a visit.
Shay: "So last week I woohooed with this guy named Colin, pretty awesome huh?"
Manno: "Congratulations, that's great!"
Yeah, they were discussing woohoo for some reason.
The cowplant has sprouted! Its a cute little baby cowplant now. Also, Shay reached level 5 gardening skill which means we get a park. The world's first community lot!
I downloaded Magnolia Blossom Park by MartinesSimblr from the gallery.
Of course Shay visited the park right away, and did a bit of gardening while she was there.
She also saw her friends Manno and William and said hi.
Shay: "Hey there, I'm just gonna eat one of your hot dogs, mkay?"
Shay's lunch consister of hot dogs stolen from one Effie Burbank.
At this point I edited the rules and made it so you could only have one sink if the plumbing restriction is in place, so I got rid of the kitchen sink.
The cowplant grew up and I dubbed him Spot - because I'm creative like that.
Shay spends a lot of her time weeding.
Colin's always busy whenever I try to invite him over, so I gave up on that and sent Shay to the park in search of someone new.
Random Teen: "So, I hear you're lookin' for a man..."
Shay: "Sorry bud, not interested in going to jail."
Much to my delight I spotted Zack Valentine here, who looks like he could use some company.
There you go Shay, a real man who it isn't a crime to date.
After all my work getting Zack over to talk to Shay, she wandered off to watch Effie play chess with some kid.
Effie: "This kid is definately cheating. There's no way he could be beating me otherwise."
I got Shay back on track and we learned one of Zack's traits, which isn't really all that favourable for child rearing.
Zack: "I hate kids. Can't stand the little snots."
Shay: "Well this could be problematic."
Nonetheless, Shay invited Zack back to her place. I didn't really feel like trying to find someone else for her. I'll just make sure they only have one or two kids so Zack isn't too upset.
Besides, they're cute together and Zack has awesome pink hair.
Thanks Zack, make a mess. This isn't really helping your case at all.
He gets along well with Spot though.
Spot: "I approve."
They have their first kiss with Spot looking on.
And then they get down to business.
The chess table is Shay's best friend right now, it gets her focused so she can skill faster.
Shay: "What was I doing again?"
Well, in theory anyway.
Shay has to spray her plants for bugs now.
My sims love to cloudgaze/stargaze. They always have whims for it.
Shay: "Wanna move in?"
Zack: "Sure."
I wonder if sims will ever say no to moving in?
Zack Valentine is from the gallery, he's by WallinGaming.
Zack is a foodie, hates children, and is a genius. His aspiration is to be a master mixologist, which I think compliments Shay's party animal aspiration very well.
One of Shay's friends, Luz, came over, and Zack had half a red bar with her. So, of course he wanted to yell at her.
Zack asked Shay to be his girlfriend autonomously, which I think is adorable.
Shay had saved up a fair bit so I added a bit to the house and got Zack a bar.
So apparently sims can have a drink in the tub, which is the only reason I took this picture.
