SF Portal Con: meeting with John de Lancie! (late report)

This is a way too late entry about meeting with John de Lancie in my hometown, Budapest, at January. I totally forgot to tell you about it. *facepalm

ohh, hi there, it`s great to see you again (even if it`s only in a picture) *hugs* It seems you had a good time at the con. I don´t like the Star Trek character but I loved him in Stargate.

It`s always great to hear that an actor cares about what he`s doing, and the fans.

*hugs back* We had a good time, indeed! John was funny, clever, entertaining, nice and he really cared about his fans. It was also good to meet some friends at this con.

As for Q in Star Trek he was a very annoying character, but John acted so well. The only episode I liked Q was the one in Voyager, where he sent his son to Captain Janeway to study. Colonel Simmons was a great character in SG-1, agreed.

Every time I see him I think about when he was on Days of Our Lives in the early 80s as goofy Eugene Bradford. He was so funny and wonderful!
