When she saw the pipe, her lips formed a small O of understanding. So that's what that distinctive scent had been. There was still a lot she didn't understand about their conversation, but she figured she would learn in time. All this talk about Henry's father was making her even more curious, but she would inquire about it later. The way Henry was talking to Ace made it seem like the man was much older than he looked. "Excuse me," she chirped. "But, I really want to repay you for what you've told me. Do you like sweets?" Her eyes sparkled as she looked up at him, already getting excited at the prospect of making a cake or pastry for someone.

"Ah, as much as anyone with a sweet tooth does," He said, looking over at her. "But if you're gonna make me sweets, make a lot of them, cher." A thousand futures blurred together as Die took a hit from his pipe after packing it, inhaling a deep breath and just looking from one of them to the other, before letting the breath out slow, like a dragon as he set the pipe aside.

"Or better yet, maybe I should just make a contract with you. You can bring me some once a week." It was a tease - if she wanted it to be.

Raina's mouth stretched into a grin, her eyes smiling along with it. This guy was so amusing, she was taking a liking to him already. "Right! Haha, Mr. Ace is it? Just tell me what your favorite flavors are, and I'll whip up the best treats you have ever tasted." The girl nodded firmly, confident in her ability.
