Aww, thanks! :) Yay, a distinctive avy! :D (Thanks! I was pretty happy with how the contrast turned out, so I'm glad you like that too.)

I'd highly recommend it. :) Even if you don't do a semester-long class, you should look into a short or even day/weekend-long class. The officer who taught our class said that they offer a lot of classes just to the community, and he indicated that a lot of police stations around the country do, so maybe yours does. :) Emm, I don't think they were. Or, rather, they may've been, but the police officer didn't tell us if they were. ;)) The logic behind some of the moves was to use the person's weight/force against them, and then others dealt more with pressure points. But the key to all of them was pretty much just to be quick and decisive so that your attacker doesn't get a chance to stop you.

:D Yay! Another Anne/Persuasion admirer ( ... )

Oh, yes, bubble tea was really weird the first time or two I had it, but it's kind of grown on me too. ;)) Oh, how fun! :D What all does a Korean bakery sell? I don't really know much about Korean food. (Well, at least we've made our own version hot! Just tea and the bubbles and milk and sugar. No, the bubbles don't actually melt. You'd kind of think they would, but they're resilient, which is good because you have to boil them to cook them. ;)) )
