Oh goodness, this is gorgeous, and sad, and...gah! Brilliant, really in keeping with Lost's recent mind f-ckery, to be honest. The part with the revolver by his bed that he can't use was very Dan-ish, as well. Really amazing fic, just like all your others. :)

Wow. Beautiful. The dark tone of this goes so well with the tone of the show lately. Well done!

Thank you so much -- I usually don't write quite this dark, so I'm really pleased to hear you think I managed to capture that tone. Also, I have you say your comment made me immensely flattered -- you're by and large my favourite Dan/Charlotte writer (I'm just atrocious with commenting sometimes), so I really, really appreciate the feedback!

Beautiful, absolutey gorgeous! Dan looks so haunted after Charlotte's death, and I love the way that comes across in your writing.

Thank you! I figured, having watched 'LaFleur', there had to be some messed-up stuff going on in his head, and seeing the creepy appearances by Christian and Claire, I figured maybe Dan had a similar experience.

Oh, poor Dan. I loved your discription of not-quite-Charlotte, really dark and creepy in the best way possible. Loved it. :)

Thank you so much! There was always, IMO, something a little bit sinister about Charlotte (though I loved the character), so to me it didn't feel like a huge leap.

Whoa. This is fantastic. I love it when people play with the mundfucking properties of the island, and you did it superbly, here.

Thank you so much! And me too -- some of my favourite scenes are in Jacob's cottage, Christian in the barracks, etc. There's just something so spooky and unnatural about it; it's fun to explore!
