Good work. I can see Don getting so full of himself that he'd throw out a dare like that.

Or maybe some part of him wants to be stopped, so he's giving Edgerton incentive to keep trying. (I mean, even if Don wants to lose the game doesn't mean he'll just throw it. The other side has to win. :-))

Yes, Don just may want to be stopped. He isn't the one who decided to start living this type of life, Charlie did. Don went along with it, but perhaps, on some level he does want to be stopped. But in such a way as he doesn't have to feel guilty about leaving Charlie.

Also, note that Don sent the card. He put his name on it. He didn't write it for him and Charlie, nor did he let Charlie sign it either. He did. So if it does become involved in a case against them later, it can only incriminate him. Not Charlie or anyone else involved.

I totally agree. Even if Don does want to go down, he'd make Ian work it.
