Well, here's the follow-up to Warning: Danger and Don gets his answer. The question is, will he accept Billy's answer or not? Billy says it means 'hands off' but Don thinks of it as possession, not an easy thing for a human to take.

I'm hoping to get another fic in this series posted before I go on holiday, but I'm not sure if it'll work. So, basically, if you don't see anything Family Secrets related for the next few weeks, it's not that I've abandoned the series, it's just that I'm away with what may well be patchy internet access.
Or limited time, see I'm off to China!!!

See, I thought it was something like this, that Billy's scent on him had made the other animals wary of Don. I like that level of detail, it really adds a lot to the story to explore these little side effects.

Yeah, Don is going to have to get used to the fact that he now smells like one of the top predators and that almost all other animals will steer well clear of him.

See, I already thought Don was a top predator. (Just one of the good ones.) /grins/

Now he smells like he *belongs* to a top *animal* predator. Hehehe

I don't know, I think Don could look at this as Billy's way of letting other werewolves know that he's family, not as a sign of possession.

Yeah, that's true, I don't think that's going to be the first thing to cross Don's mind though. He doesn't think like that.

As for more, as I mentioned in my note, if there isn't something up in the next few days, it'll be a little while as I'm going on holiday.
