Oh. Whoa. Poor Hermione and Harry. I really feel for the two of them. They're in this situation and can't see a way out. And Harry's answer... *sigh* Very tragic. Great job.

Thanks for reading it! I wanted so badly to make the ending happy, or at least optimistic, but it didn't seem quite right.

Maybe there will be a sequel with a happier ending, I haven't decided yet.

It's always seemed to me that Harry and Hermione's conversations (even in canon) leave so much unsaid, but also, the things they aren't saying are there in the subtext.

I liked the idea because most people say things they can't normally say if they don't have to say it out loud. It gives a little extra courage.
