So I know its been a little while since my last update/rant and at last word I was sitting in the hospital after a motorcycle accident so I owe it to you all to dedicate at least a chunk of this post to my condition as to alleviate any undue worry on the part of my loyal readers.

I am in awe at the varied selection of good thingstm that have added up to what seems to be profound good luck.
I had a horse riding accident where they were convinced I broken ribs, wrist, hips and done something fantastically naughty to my spine. Turns out I just roll exceptionally well. What I find interesting is that I was contemplating not wearing the helmet. It's not required in horse riding. It's a dangerous game. You are an adult and a good on ya. But I went ahead and wore it and it saved my life. The helmet was destroyed.
