A really good friend of mine attacked me last night calling me of all people a hopeless romantic. My retort wad of course I'm hopeless. Did have the affect of getting me thinking though.

Am I a romantic and if so what does that really mean. Am I unrealistic in my expectations from matters of the heart. Could be. Could be I only chase

I like the use of the word "attacked" ahem.

and don't kid yourself, you are a hopeless romantic. You just aren't often inspired, or invested enough to let that out, but when you are, you crash into love like a jet with nearly no hope of pulling out of your tailspin.

goodness, that's a mighty powerful thing to write/say, and for the right woman, irresistable. may you and she find each other at just the right point in yoru lives.

I prefer the phrase "incurable romantic," myself.
