A fun read!

Re: gender/sex stuff - I didn't really get the point of Conrad/Don John, either (unless it was to make Don John a "sexy bad boy" type), but I liked Margaret a lot in this. It's always a tiny bit puzzling to me why she lets Borachio call her *Hero*, but here she clearly had feelings for him, and was hurt by his feelings for Hero, but not enough to...step out of the reflected light from Borachio's Hero infatuation, if that makes sense. Anyway, I thought Margaret was vulnerable and I felt for her quite a bit.

Agreed about Nathon Fillion (delightful!) and Alexis Denisof (disappointing!). The latter is the main reason I liked the film a lot but didn't love it; Benedick has so much more *personality* than that!

I liked Denisof better than you two did (not because of "Angel," which I didn't watch -- I just liked him), but that was a fun read! :-)
