oh yes! destined to always have a horrible cover but a great narrative and not what you would expect from a "Christian" novel!

Christy is a young school teacher who has a choice of suitors: a handsome young minister and a fiery, Scottish doctor

It is a GREAT read! very romantic with lots of swoon-worthy moments.

Christy *should* join the cast of Big Love. Isn't it about time for another wife? (She said, never having watched the show).

And I guess I had been assuming the book must have been as cheezy as the series, because I read it and liked in junior high. (Not generally a good sign, especially as pertains to romances).
