Back when HBP came out, saralinda posted about how the climactic scene in the cave is strikingly similar to a few scenes from Tolkien, even to the language used.

Based on the newest trailer, I guess the filmmakers decided to run with that!

After watching the trailer again, I have retracted my fanboyish rant. It looks really cool. Stupid cool even. I love the inky style of the death eaters descending.

I think it looks pretty darn cool too. But what specifically about it made you mad the first time?

I felt like the majority of it wasn't from the book. That or I just didn't remember it all. Especially the Burroughs being attacked. If I recall that was in DH was it not? And I am just not a fan of the girl who play Ginny.

Is the attack on the Burrow in the trailer? I totally missed that! How weird that they would put that in... it's so significant and shocking in the final book.

The actress who plays Ginny is pretty insipid... but it kinda makes sense considering she was cast to play a shy 10-year-old for two minutes in the first film. We should probably be surprised that so many of the kids turned out as decent actors!
