I was shocked to see the end too.
And poor Michael, but you know the new girl will be around for awhile.

And i feel bad for Toby. I thought he was cool.

I know, I really like poor sad put-upon Toby. Alas :(

you know the new girl will be around for awhile

True. But I'm shocked they seem to be giving Michael a serious personal storyline. All his prior relationships have just been an excuse for him to embarrass himself.

I know, poor Pam! And the end! I never ever wanted to see Dwight shirtless. Ever. :-P

Dwight getting the new HR woman -- what was her name? I've forgotten already -- to think that Kevin was mentally challenged was hilarious. Especially since everything Kevin did after that could easily have been interpreted that way. :-D

You know, I've never been able to wrap my mind around the fact that self-righteous Angela, so quick to call other women sluts for wearing a v-neck or something, actually has illicit sex with Dwight. And seeing them in flagrante? Actually does not help at all.

Plus, naked Dwight = plz no.

The thing with Kevin was hilarious. It was brilliant that her talking to him like a little kid just made him think she was into him!

"This one's a button." ROFL.

*waves* I see you over at Sonia's LJ all the time, and I adore your journal heading.

And since he can't do it off screen, now poor Pam has to wait three months?

And so do we! Aghhh! I really felt sorry for Michael in this one - to see how excited he was when Holly reacted favourably to him, and how he didn't 'that's what she said' with her.

I wonder if Toby is gone for good, or if he'll be back next season somehow...

Hi! Glad you like the header :) BTW, I believe I owe you a debt of gratitude for recommending my latest true love, the Julian Kestrel books, in a post soniag linked to.

I'm so nervous that since the proposal is put off for 3 months, the Jam love will be strained in September. I don't need them to have more tension! They should be happy forever, while Michael and Holly step in to supply our will-they-won't-they awkward cuteness.

Someone on the Television Without Pity boards put it really well: "It's nice to feel bad for him, for once, for something that isn't ultimately his fault." Nice, but sad!

I think Toby may be gone for good, alas. He'll be around in spirit though since I guess he's one of the writers.

Oh yay for finding something to love from the Mystery List. I haven't updated it recently, but I do mean to. If you have any suggestions for mysteries, please share. Looking over your interests, you may want to take a peek at The Passion List, which has a lot of great suggestions. (You listed Pablo Neruda! Are you familiar with the CD of songs based on his poetry, by Jose Cura? Gorgeous and moving music.)

It seems wrong to jump from Neruda to The Office, but I will.

I'm so nervous that since the proposal is put off for 3 months, the Jam love will be strained in September.

I have this fear that maybe Pam misread her acceptance for the graphics program, or that something will happen to prevent them from getting engaged, but gosh, I hope not! I like your Michael and Holly idea - I cringe to think of what new horrors await Michael.

Three months seems a long time, alas!

Oh, Office. I'm actually quite hopeful about Michael and his new love interest, and loved Jim desperately trying to help him not screw it up.

Dwight/Angela for the win! I love them. I really don't know why, but I do. Especially if they make Andy punch a hole in the wall again.

I love your icon. Did you see Dan in Real Life? He's great at not being Michael Scott... until they ask him to dance ;)

Jim trying to rein in Michael's self-destructive instincts was so cute! And I too love Dwight and Angela. I especially love the little smile she always got (while they were together) when he did anything authoritarian. But I never want to see them naked again.
