Those who like Doctor Who, particularly Rose fans, go read jcd1013's lovely story here. I had the pleasure of doing a quick edit on it last night and let me say, it's a rare thing when someone hands you their story and says "be brutal", and you read it and find nothing to be brutal about. Even rarer when you end the first read-through with wet eyes

There be new Doctor Who episode on the Sci Fi Channel on Friday nights, sans Rose I'm afraid. It took me up until the the most recent episode, titled "The Family of Blood" parts 1 & 2, to really warm up to Martha/new Rose at all. But it probably took me at least 5 episodes to warm up to the original Rose, now that I think about it.

I've caught a few of them (the two-parter that just aired was great, I thought) and like you, I am getting to like Martha. She's not as spunky as Rose but she seems to think things through more often, which I like. I downloaded the next episode, "Blink" (impatient) and it is TOTALLY AWESOME. Something to look forward to :)
