RECOMMENDATION SUNDAY: Something special to kick off the New Year
I know I haven't been doing these lately, but I haven't been watching or reading much of general interest and I'm starting to run short on Old Favorites.
However, I've had an idea which will at least take care of next week if people like it and want to participate. It's like a meme, only not, because I thought of it. It's called If I could recommend only one...
You pose the question to me: "If you could recommend only one ___, what would it be?"
Possibilities could be anything from "one book written in the past 15 years" to "one mellow song to relax to" to "one movie featuring a performance you consider brilliant" to "one science fiction story in any form" to-well, whatever you can think of! No limits! Pose me some and I'll mull over them and put my answers into a post next week.
If anyone wants to do this on their own blog I think it would be fun to compare results, but that's certainly not required.
