I dont have any kids but My best friend April has a 1 month old and she is the best mommie! She is THE ONLY person I have known in my life who breastfeeds and uses cloth diapers! I have learned ALOT from her about these things ( Read more... )

yay cute nursing stuff! I nursed my son for about a year. I was going to try cloth diapering, but, I absolutely *HATE* laundry, so, I figured it wasn't for me haha.

Kudos to your friend for nursing! Not many people do it these days, they fall on formula so fast under the illusion that it's *just as good* as breastmilk, which, is just plain wrong!

It hink there cute too! I cant wait to have alittle one! Im going to try all the "natural" ways too!
I also hate hate hate washing but since its better for the baby then I will at least give it my best! :)

She is a great mommie! She has 3 boys! Sometimes I dont know how she does it!

Yea breast is best if a baby can handle it!

aw babies can always handle it, it's a question of if the mothers are prepared and dedicated enough to make it work. My doc told us so many times that it would be easier to just switch to forumla, because my son was allergic to dairy, soy, and eggs as an infant. I refused though. When you do have kids, look into what is actually *in* formula, it's not a pretty thing, and it wreaks havoc on infant stomachs.
Breastfeeding isn't easy when you're starting out, but it's worth it 100%!
