lol, whipped? Seriously? People actually think that? If anything, I would've thought it'd be more the woman who is whipped by her period. There isn't much a woman can do when she's leaking a staining substance from a slit that happens to be in possibly the most inconvenient place (after her back), if she doesn't have pads or tampons or what have you. Helping in such a situation is less about being nice, more about being practical.

First it's usually not so nice as leaking. For most women out there (the only exceptions are the lucky ones) it's more like pouring... gushing? Woosh is too pretty for what happens there. I mean, it's like someone stabbed an artery between your legs

I suspect the men who "don't want to think about it" are the same men who want to pretend women don't poop. Please. That would contradict the laws of biology and physics.

I just got a periods-are-awful spiel, but I'll gladly take in another. Maybe I should film a bunch, and release a video. It'd be like a combination of The Vagina Monologues and The Aristocrats.
