I've heard that from the various commercials. Today I saw it. I went to check something on the cell phone and noticed that where it had displayed 'Cingular' it now displays 'AT&T'. The case still has the Cingular markings complete with the dotted X or silly stickman or whatever the Cingular symbol was supposed to be.

Rather than do nothing or just wait, I decided to Do Something about at least one icon. As I'm no artist, I looked through images to see what could be adapted. This one looked promising for the phone icon, and so was used. A bit of image editing and part of one panel has become the accompanying icon. That sounds like something from the late 19th or early 20th century, before phone service became pretty much a standard thing. But it's what Bellsouth plans to do now, in the early 21st century.

So now another judge has stalled the national Do Not Call list. This time it's a claim about the first amendment and free speech issues. I find that rather silly as the list is opt-in and people can decide for themselves if they want their number(s) listed or not.
