I had some at RCFM, and it has been opened (and re-sealed) some time ago so it has aged perhaps not as it should. Yet even so, one person commented that it, "tasted like Christmas." He was right.
Neither of us are wine drinkers, but for our wedding reception we had some peach wine on the tables, if we have to have wine, my wife and I prefer sweet wines, and peach wine was part of the menu of the (homemade, by me) meal that I made for her the night I proposed, so it has a special significance for us. (Yes, we saved the bottle from that night, as well as one from our wedding reception).
Sweet wine isn't really on there (not surprised, most wine connoisseurs that I know don't consider it wine), so I stuck with the "non-wine drinker" answer since that more aptly describes us.
Not all wines are dry, but non-grape "fruit wines" (e.g. plum) do seem to be sweeter in general. If you care to sample something, I would suggest giving a "Gewürz" (Gewürztraminer) a try sometime. It's a sweeter white wine.
