Push-Poll

I wouldn't mind answering calls from pollsters all that much if they were genuine polls. I've now gotten two calls that pretended to be polls but were really what is known as "push polls."

Rake your congresscritter and senators over the coals for this. They insisted on an exemption for political callers. Otherwise, do not call would apply. There is no valid reason to exempt anyone from do not call.
