This time we'll be dressing for it, which means when I get home I get to change. Most places, dining out doesn't have to be a caloric disaster. Skip the beer, get fruit for dessert, and have something like a chicken ceasar salad (or the closest equivalent wherever you're eating) and you'll be fine.

Similarly, I don't mind doing chores, except when I suddenly have to do them.

For instance, it's my job to do the dishes. All I have to do is put the clean ones away, load up the dishwasher, and start it up. Most of the time I'm perfectly happy to do that. But if I forget to do them until it becomes oh-crap-gotta-do-a-load-NOW urgent, I hate doing it! Usually because I was in the middle of doing something else, and now that's what I've got my mind on and I feel like doing the dishes is an interruption and a waste of potential fun-project time!
