"The CW"

The WB television network and the UPN television will be combined into one network and renamed "The CW." I can almost hear the jokes already about the letters ought to be reversed. As an amateur radio operator, I do not think of television when I hear or see the letters CW. What I think of is something that uses far less bandwidth than ( Read more... )

I say "good". Compile all that garbage into one station so I see it half as often when channel-surfing. ;p

What that means for me locally is that they will take the "good" (ie, successful) shows from UPN and show them on WGN - which means I'll be able to see them, assuming my reception stays the same.

Around here I wonder if it will be 43 that'll turn CW, or 55* that gets the cream of this crop.

* Channel 55 is owned by one Ernest (HEEeeoooooool!) Angley. Ruined the Ghoul Show, cuts out all the curse words from all programing
