A new faire nearby?

I saw a notice for a new faire (Warning: The site is hosted on Tripod so don't expect it to work right and do expect it to be spammy) in New Ulm. I'm a bit concerned that this is the "Martin Luther College Renaissance Faire" and they need to use a Tripod web site.

It's scheduled for May 6 which seems a bit early in the year for the latitude.

The oddest thing,

I got a brochure for Grand Rapids, MN today and scanning their calender of events my eye jumped to June 17-19 Medieval Affair at the trading post?

I sent the post an email a bit ago asking for details, not sure what it is but will find out.

That's the weekend of the Jubilee Olde English Faire in Illinois which Jay and I are planning on attending.

Pretty sure its the same weekend as Midlands too - not planning to attend but I'm curious as to what it is =)
