Another visit to the License Bureau

Back in October I had some trouble with a license plate mix-up. I went to the license bureau then to see about straightening things out. The result of that was that I've now been driving on a single plate and a temporary paper placed in the rear window. Such a paper is valid for sixty days.

Somewhere, someone is driving on your other plate I'm afraid. Just hope they don't rob a bank and their car gets photographed in the process.

I do wonder what happened to that other plate. The W9SIO plate I had I turned in to the license bureau. And I was surprised to be asked by one person, "Do you want to keep it?" I had to explain it was not rightly mine.

A coworker suggested that I should have kept that plate, cut out the year sticker with a snips, epoxied that part to one of my old plates and just use it. If I still had that other plate, that would be getting quite tempting. On the other hand, if it takes another sixty days or so straightened things out, maybe the right plate can be installed in warmer weather.
