Con crud: A vague illness that has a tendency to flourish and spread at gatherings such as conventions. It can be exacerbated by immune system stressors such as lack of sleep and dehydration from prolonged non-stop travel. (Definition swiped and modified from here.)

Got Con Crud?? jugularjaguar June 2 2004, 16:42:00 UTC
I know for certain you did not get it from me. Likely from a raccoon or maybe a skunk.

I just wanted to thank you everything. I think you helped contribute a lot to make my weekend fun. I bet we would have won the scavenger hunt if it were not for a few missing items.

You know I have no idea where the little meat sticks went to that were bought. I wanted to pass them out. funny how that stuff disappears.

The fan is working great. I think I might have to do something to alter it as it seems to rub and it is a little too noisy. But it comes in handy in those warm areas!!!

I just got home a few hours ago. We hung out late Monday and saw a movie and had another party for those who were still there!! It was even more fun!! I bet we will get you to stay an extra day next time.

Thanks again for everything.

I dunno. If do have the crud, it seems to be a mild case. Or the vitamin C is really doing the job to keep it from being anything worse. I thought I saw a rat around once, and those things carry who knows what diseases...

Maybe some scavenger made off with the "redneck pocky." It might serve them right. I thought I saw someone with one of them, but I don't recall who or when anymore.

Had things worked out and I been able to an additional day off from work, I'd have liked to hang around some. There's stuff in Huntsville that I'd like to see. That and I find that smaller groups are more fun - less time spent trying make what should be simple decisions, not having to keep track of so many people, less waiting and so on.

I'd been wanting to get that fan going for some time. I can't imagine not having it, especially in your climate. I hope it keeps on working. I was a bit surprised it wasn't until Sunday night that it got taken care of. Maybe you're more used to heat than I am. Good luck with taking care of the mechanical interference ( ... )

As hoped, the sore throat is if not gone, so nearly gone as not be an issue. And it's around noon on Friday now, so the weekend should go well at least from the "I can talk without hurting" perspective.
