Title: Versus Time (2/3)

Summary: The Doctor being a brave hero with no sense of self-preservation leads to Jack having to save the universe all on his own. Or so it seems.

Aaah! I was so excited to see this update! And there you go apologising for giving us more chapters ;)

God, these guys are written well. I'm thoroughly enjoying the tension and Jack's angst, of course. No Doctor POV so we don't know how he is, what he may be hatching (humming?!), whether he has been harmed or knows anything.

Your description of the ship was very good. I like it how for Jack it seemed to melt into the passageways of the planet. Everything is so archaic. And then there's that wind that has no business being so deep in a ship.

Looking forward to reading more! xXx

Oh excellent!

I've been away for the last few weeks and was wondering if you got back to this story. Love that the Time Agents think they can mess with time like they plan to.

Jack is right.. no such this as no consequences. Am excited to see just what they will be!

Actually, no. I'm trying to firgure out what you're referring to. "Island" makes me think of Lost, but I haven't watched that in ages.

Yeah, "Lost," and it hasn't been worth watching in ages, actually, except for some great jokes Hurley made about Ewoks. Anyway, I thought of the actor who so wonderfully and creepily plays Ben, that's all. He has slightly protruding , very bright blue eyes and is almost always inappropriately friendly and calm. I was reminded of the actor only--I didn't think Benj was meant to be taken for Ben, in spite of what my earlier message implied.

There's something about these creepy characters that makes them... well, creepy. Which might be why they pop up every so often.
I didn't have any plan for writing the three time agents, they just developed certain characteristics as the story developed. Of course they are influenced by every thing I have watched/read/experienced in my life, but Lost was such a vague memory at the time of writig that I think I can rule out this specific source of inspiration.
