I just researched Tokyo Babylon on Wikipedia. It looks fascinating. Evidently your story is set in happier times, relatively speaking :(

And one of my all time favourites. I read it ages ago for the first time, and every once in a while I take it off my bookshelf and read it again. (And every time I have this silly hope that maybe this time it might end differently...)
I even bought it in Japanese when I was in Kyôto. And it was very easy for my to read, because I pretty much know the German translation by heart.
Yes, being enthusiastic here. Sorry.
The relationship between the twins might have come across a bit more creepy than originally intended, but since it wasn't exactly OOC, I decided to leave it that way.
You know, that you read this despite not knowing the fandom amazes me. You really don't have to read everything I write, you know.
Still, I'm grateful! Especially since as you can see, this didn't get an awful lot of attention.
In other words: You're so sweet!

I'm glad you kink it's in-character.

I haven't read any manga, but I've seen some of the animated adaptations. I've watched a couple of the Naruto movies. I also caught a few episodes of "Disciples of Darkness," which I really liked. (Sci Fi Channel runs anime sporadically and at odd hours.) I've noticed manga in thrift shops. Maybe I'll peruse some of it next time.

I've never watched "Disciples of Darkness" and only know a few chapters of the Naruto mangas. You're lucky I don't have your adress, or I would totally have bought TB for you. (I believe it was published in English.)

TB is a series I reread every once in a while. I'll always have a soft spot for this particular story.

Still, it was interesting like this as well. I greately enjoyed TB, getting absorbed in the story to the point where I would momentarily forget how it would end - but that would always come back at one point or another, and when Hokuto and "Sei-chan" were fooling around, I'd more often than not choke on my own laughter. It was kind of creepy and doomed.
Thank you for reading, and I'm glad you liked it!
