I'm destroyed by this. Beautifully written and so, so heartbreaking. I'm trying to think of something intelligent to say, critique the text and wot-not but I am a pile of emotional goo. So much pain and love- thank-you for sharing :) xXx

Thanks a lot! It's impossible for me to give them a real happy end, but this is much better than nothing.

That was so beautiful. Reading your stories always press through the reality that there is never any real straightforward, cohesive solution for the Doctor, and for Jack. And I spent most of my time reading this fic, wanting to cry, until the sentence:

**“Come on,” he said, and smiled. “We can be okay together.” And somehow it was the best thing Jack had heard today.**

Because it reminded me of Donna's "cos I'm alright too" which I think is the best ever response to the Doctor's false cheer and also, like that scene in FotD it's a feeling of continuation, that rise and fall. Really, a wonderful story hun. How was Christmas?

Christmas was nice. And for you?

Thank you for the lovely comment. I was, indeed, thinking of that scene in FotD, or more like reminded of it by what I wrote. I decided to write it anyway, for the reasons you gave here.

I love the concept--the living planet and the memory monsters. Very horrifying, in the best way. (Come to think of it, that's something I love about all your stories. You create alien worlds and alien monsters and villains marvelously. The monsters and adventures really make your stories feel like the show I fell in love with--but with extra slash. It's like taking a good thing and making it *even better*.)

Another excellently written adventure! I don't know how you do it .... but I might be becoming a fan! The characterisations are so incredibly vivid.

Pendulum is definitely my favourite work in progress, however. I do hope there is a new chapter on the way.

And I might even be inspired to write my own story. Which will probably be a disaster, but here's to trying!!
