The Doctor-Master interaction was quite touching, and you did a nice job of capturing how unattractive Jack's jealousy can be.

Unattractive? That's interesting. I didn't mean to portray it that way, nor did I try to avoid the impression. I just tried to describe his reaction in a believable way.

You hit the believable goal head-on. I think jealousy is, at its core, an unattractive emotion. If it's truly felt, that is, and not just given a passing thought.

The entire story so far is very well-written, but I particularly like the Doctor's "movement" comment here. At least he can still manage irony, all is not completely lost.

I love that you've built a highly emotionally volatile situation (even got the Master to cry) but managed to make this chapter feel quiet and deceptively peaceful. I like the uncharacteristic tenderness the Master has with the Doctor. Jack's pressing need for answers is very in-character. I have a feeling there's an explosion in store...
