ARGH!! So... huh... you were right. I HATE the end of the episode. I hate Crowley, I hate Jena and I hate everything in the world that has managed to convince Sam that he's not worth of living and he's only good as a sacrifice for the greater good. The saddest part of this is that Dean (and now Castiel) have probably had the biggest influence in his way of thinking.

I loved Dean watching and worrying over Sam and trying to make his brother understand how much he's loved, but... it was still useless. I'm not going to give away the ending. It's tempting, but I don't want to spoil you. Just... you're probably not going to totally hate me for it. For whatever that's worth.

I'm sorry about this chapter. It needed to be done.

Some of your speculation, as usual, is spot on. And yeah, Sam was scared. I'd be fucking scared. The difference is, that Sam did it anyway, and that's why he's a better person than me.
