Does anyone know anything about scripts or S2 Layers? I am trying to change the images used in the "lj user" tags. First, I looked at the LJ core source codes and found the "userinfoicon" function, and I confirmed this with kunzite1's code. Nothing has worked so far! Something is either wrong with my code (under the cut) or this layout (transmogrified1). All well ( Read more... )

The first half, of definitions, looks good. My only guess is that the second bit, where those values are called, has some problem, and it's just resorting back to defaults. Of course, I didn't write this code, so I'm not 100% sure... or even 50% sure, really.
Perhaps if you think the Nutcracker is something you did off the high-dive...
And by that I mean, perhaps if you posted the original code for comparison.

I would agree with you, except I didn't modify any of the second bit. And from what I can tell, it is exactly the same as the orginal.

Ummmm...
can I point out that the lj user tag images I see now match the URL in your code?

The fact that you are seeing the image has nothing to do with that layer function. You might also notice the images for communities and syndications are the same as normal users. This is because I used a standard CSS override, which turns the images for any type of user into one image. If the function worked, it would display separates images for each.
