Cleanup is going slow. We actually rented a house a few blocks away so we have somewhere to stay while we clean and renovate the house. Quite intense, this experience is. o_o

After the flood everything was covered with a layer of silt. The water is mostly gone, except when you squeeze certain objects. A lot of things are still wet. Thanks for the offer, but we'll make do. Other people need help more than we do. I felt pretty bad for myself Saturday night, but the next day when I got access to news and found out just how bad things were everywhere, I realized that we got off relatively light. Sure, we lost a lot of stuff, but at least we weren't stuck for too long, nor was anyone hurt.
