So, for the finale of Being Human, I’m gonna be live blogging on the second airing at 11 pm. Just to see how they hurt Aidan’s my soul. AGAIN.

So, before the bodies start hitting the floor I thought we might just take a moment to mourn all of those who have come and gone(permanently) so far. Let’s take stock, shall we?

Kara just isn't interesting enough for me. I get that she's supposed to symbolise awkward post-teen girl. but... *snore* I mean, comparing her to Rebecca and Josh who will fucking stake a bitch for Aidan. She's not living up.

Marcus and Aiden had some serious Foeyay going on up in here. So sad. There will be no killing of Bishop! None.

I like Kara. She was clueless and entertaining!

Sorry to be among the Rebecca haters. I won't be an asshole and go on a long rant why. I'm not the biggest fan of any of the female characters on this show, because I don't think they're written very well. Sally is getting better, and Nora is probably the one I have the easiest time tolerating. But Rebecca I fast-forwarded over after a while.

I can see why the female characters in general and Rebecca in particular weren't the best thing about the show, but I think the writers can absolutely do better. Problem is, without any female characters - like Supernatural - they won't get the practice and work through the issues they have with writing realistic, strong women. Strongly hoping this isn't one of those shows where women don't get to exist except as victims.
