I don't know if I've said this before on this journal, but I fangirled Being Human. Seriously. A show about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost that was much deeper than it looked like. Really. I know. That pic was just calling to be, plus it's TRUE. So true. Alas we have not seen the things that dead guy has seen.

Our tv screens are wasted on random and rather boring *ahem* scenes. When we could've had this filmed if only GAEETTAAA had picked up a video camera to research Davis's intense emotions.

Right. On the better show, The three do an experiment. Gaeta wants to test how well DAvis feels physical sensations. Chloe helps. haha. Gaeta = v. turned on haha

I've never watched Being Human before, and I probably won't because of the Jimmizied, sorry, Jimmied thing, it looked actually interesting by the way you were talking about season 1, but after Doomsfail I just can't help but freak out with this kind of things.

I feel sorry for the fans of the Jimmied character. That's just ugly!

It's hoorrreeeeblle.

S1 was really beautiful. Really. It counteracted all of svs bad messages. At least S1 had a decent ending. That's how I will think of the show. but I don't care to be kicked again. I REFUSE. So I'm dumping it. Because Jimmying him was THE WORST. It can't get worse than that.

And I'm so with you. Since the doomfail, fail is on a short leash with me.

I did just realize one good thing about SVs S8 though. They never ever could turn Davis into Jimmy. He wasn't ever 'made' a lying, cheating controlling tomato.

I guess, that in itself was the worst fate a character could suffer.

A suggestion. If you do, please watch only season one. That is actually awesome. Then make up their ending in your head.

but Season 2, Episode 1 made me want to poke my eyes out. I LOVED GEORGE. HE WAS MY FAVORITE! WHY!?

S2 began on Jan 10th. I'm sad. I even made a fake mag cover for this crap. I was literally walking on sunshine in anticipation of something finally good, and then pow.

JimmyGeorge smacked me in the face. (And I was ready to cry for him in his pain, but noooo.)Not to mention, he cheats on Nina again while pretending everything is peachy.

I am just waiting for him to steal money from her, I swear. But i ain't sticking around. SV has mindeffed with me enough.

Hell that's all that's left now: him stealing money from her. And then not!George will die at the hands of the vampire with a heart of gold that all of sudden has gone pyscho for no reason other than the writers were feeling particularly lazy that day. (Sorry, I'm still WTFing about Doomsday).

Why are my favprite British shows("Merlin", I'm looking at you too!) taking cues from freaking Smallville?! Smallville is the worst show to take any cues from!

I am so confused. I'm in the US, and I have my DVR set to automatically record new eps of Being Human (via BBCAmerica). It hasn't, so I'm assuming that either you have the hookup, or you're able to watch the s2 premiere already (legally). Have I missed something?

EXACTLY. It's fail fail so much fail, and I hate seeing fail repeated but it just is. ugh!

Also Merlin. Hating what they're doing to Morgana and I'm not even watching. Of curse they have mythos to hide behind, but this show has no excuse. Grr.

As for Being Human, I watched on the BBC site,
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00hqlc4(they post eps after a certain amount of time). I'm guessing it didn't block the US because of proxyway (it's a surfing tool on my computer).

I'm still going to keep watching BH but I must also admit, there was something missing and I miss all the scenes between the main 3 :(

I feel like they're dragging Mitchell in all sorts of crazy directions with a sudden new LI. And I miss ALL their shippiness dangit!

Good luck on BH. Hope it gets beter. I might keep up to date with what happens in the teeny hope that they resurface, but I have too bad of a history with shows to watch.

I am digging out my S1 eps, though.
