I was not, but some of my friends took photos and posted them up. However, they had some book lying around their house discussing what was supposedly going to happen that day...sounded pretty awesome, for sure.

I'll actually be running through Richmond this weekend, but it's more of a super quick crash post-show and then leave ASAP the next morning kinda thing. So the next time I'm legitimately there, perhaps we can do something! I'll let you know.

Oh lovely! Looking at you having lovely times with friends makes me extra-excited about spend next summer (your winter) in Perth...I used to hate the place, but now I'm realising that what's important is that it has so many lovely people in it...the city itself is unimportant. But you like Richmond too, not just the people in it, right? I remember you saying that even though you didn't want to move back to the states, if you ended up in Richmond you'd be happy...

I'm happy for you!! So you'll only be in Perth for the season? Will you be going back to school? Having friends around definitely helps. When my friends would come home to Lynchburg, all we ever did was go out to eat, see a cheap movie, or hang out at a friend's house. And honestly, that was good enough for me! I'm sure if I got to see friends on the regular while I lived there I wouldn't have been so unhappy. But I do like Richmond! A lot of awesome bands play shows here and there's a lot of tasty food, and cool things to do.
