it's not even like that for me, anymore, i don't think. i don't need a perfect christmas, but going to a vaguely familiar house to spend the day with people i barely know or don't know at all is kind of lame, you know? but at the same time, my family will be there and i don't want to bail on them, i guess.

And on the Christmas level I can so relate- for completely different reasons but over all, I'm over Christmas too. I cannot emphasize how much I heard myself when you talked about old Christmases and how wonderful they were and how it'll never be the same. No one should lose something as magical and wonderful as that, but maybe some day we'll each have a new tradition, yeah? It'll never replace those childhood Christmases, ever, but maybe Christmas is just taking a break in our lives right now and it'll be back in a different way later on?
I'm endlessly optimistic.
Enjoy break no matter what comes your way dear.

I remember drama! Only because I reread your journal lol. Otherwise I'd have no idea what you're talking about and all I have to say is that you should invite who you want to your thing, drama is drama it ain't gunna end and seriously, if you haven't talked to them then why are you going to bother? You could invite and warn all parties of who is going to be there or just not invite certain people but you know there comes a time when people need to grow up and it's not your worry if they don't. Yes. Things...yes.
I haven't written anything in the like two years... I think. Hell I don't remember when I last wrote something lol. Good times had by all. I haven't read anything either since your stories are the only ones that I read haha! DAMN YOU WITH THE LACK OF WRITING! Yes, those are words of fury, can you feel it? Can you?! I can't.
