You can get external hard drives for really cheap these days. Like 160GB for under $80. Might do to back up your most precious stuff until you can get Jean Juc fixed.

Lock in, into safety mood and try to safe files from there. Or maybe use the usb just for the files. I was able to safe most of my stuff when my pc got sick. OMG I'm so feeling with you. It's the worst of the worst!!! Good luck, honey.

My laptop died and I lost everything. Wasn't pretty. But now I've learnt. External hard drive is probably the best way to go - you should always backup your hard drive :P

I'm practically even worse, my WHOLE LIFE is on my fucking flash drive. If I lost that, death would be imminent.
