I’m a currently on birth control via IUD and although I haven’t been had many issues with menstrual pain before I wouldn’t suggest getting a hysterectomy (if you aren’t planning on having children) but would keep my ovaries (due to the hormones they produce).
Many menstrual problems can be fixed naturally. Unfortunately, the use of birth control pills is nothing but a hormonal replacement therapy and you never know how it will influence your hormonal balance in the long run. I read a lot of this kind of effect on the internet, since you are nearly 40s you should stop taking pill and live a healthy lifestyle. I also believe some of the aging 40s have the same experience, period is not normal or delayed but I think its normal at that age. well, I wanna know some of the informative answers as well. Regards from overkink blog
When I went off birth control, I think I went back to "normal" in about 5 months. Meaning I felt an ovulation. But my periods have been a lot less painful since then, if painful at all, after that 5 year term on birth control. My early life periods and through my 20s were painful and emotional.
