Hmmm... me likey. I lost 5.6 lbs in the last two weeks (1.6 lbs in the week I started my period and 4.0 lbs this last week) I guess it really does pay to work out every day (only 30 minutes, but still)

I'm down to 183.7 lbs, which is a weight I haven't seen since, like, forever (seriously, I was probably in the 6th grade the last time I weighed that ( Read more... )

When I was 180-185lbs I could definitely fit into some larges and some extra-larges in departments.

It's so EXCITING buying new clothes and such that are so much smaller~ I used to wear size 15-16 jeans, and last week I bought my first ever pair of size 8 jeans! ^____^ They're a little snug, but I have to wear them to stretch them out (the size 10s would have been too loose.) It is a GOOD thing.

*hugs you~~~*

Yeah, I have my regular clothes which are mostly large and some extra large that I still wear (but are getting increasingly baggy) but those (especially the pants) have always fit me weird. To fit my big hips and thighs, I have to get pants that usually come about 3 or 4 inches past my feet and the waistband is usually right under my boobs (I have a really, really, really short torso. I measured the space between my bottom rib and the top of my hip bone and it's only 5 inches ;_;)

OMG! Congrats on the jeans! That is so freakin' awesome *hugsnugs* It just seems like there's so many cuter clothes and more selection with the smaller sizes. I'm currently broke and stealing my mom's clothes when I want something my current size and I've just managed to get comfy in a pair of size 14 jeans of her's!

Congrats on the weight loss!

I totally hear you on the clothing issues. I'm a little taller than you, 5'3", but I'm still short enough that outfits that fit me are way too long. It's a good thing I usually wear platforms, or I'd trip over my own skirts.

Thanks *snugs*

I used to wear chunky platform shoes but 1) I've watched TLC's show "What Not To Wear" too many times and the fashion experts on there absolutely hate those kinda shoes and I hear their voices in my head whenever I think about putting a pair on, and 2) I can't ever find a pair that fits right. Those are all too long too ;_;

That's not dorky. XP I always get excited when I can fit into a size smaller than I thought I could. It makes me happy.

Also, I'm 5'4", and a lot of stuff I buy fits me poorly too. XP I have to get pants that're too long for them to fit properly. So, needless to say, the bottoms don't stay nice for very long.

Unfortunately, at the moment, I'm going up clothing sizes thanks to the baby, but hopefully after it's born I can exercise and get back down. Maybe. Crossing my fingers.

Yeah, my mom always yells at me for walking all over my pant legs. I'm like- "but they're a foot longer than I am! What am I supposed to do- levitate?"

*crosses fingers with you* You shouldn't have much of a problem as typically pregnant women don't actually gain that much weight from the pregnancy itself. It's just when they get into that "well, I'm eating for two so I can completely pig out all the time" mentality or if they don't find ways to stay active while pregnant that the weight really becomes a problem.

Yeah, I can see that. I've only done the whole "eating for two" thing once. I ate four grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner instead of my usual two. But, in my defense, I hadn't eaten much that day anyway. x3

Also, yeah, I'm anywhere between four and six months and I've only gained about thirteen pounds. So that's not bad at all. I've ballooned up quite a bit, but that's what the scale says, so I don't know how that works. xD

My mom used to, but she got to the point where she just rolls her eyes. And buys me new pants for my birthday. xD;

Yeah, it shouldn't be too bad as long as you're eating healthy (I just got done taking a nutrition course with a whole chapter on pregnancy and breastfeeding so I still have the residuals of that info in my brain ^_^)

Yeah, that's not bad at all (though the ballooning may have to do with changes in the compisition of your body weight from muscle to fat, ect)
